About Us

Salem Bible Methodist Church is a community of believers who meet for weekly worship and express love through service to the city of Salem. We are affiliated with the Heartland Conference of the Bible Methodist Connection of Churches. Formerly the Salem Pilgrim Church, this faith congregation has a long standing history in this area. Blessed with godly leaders and a rich heritage, SBMC is looking ahead and expanding its ministry scope.

We offer worship/learning options for the entire family:

  • Tots for Christ – birth to 4 years
  • Kids for Christ – ages 5 - 11
  • Youth for Christ – ages 12 to 12th grade (meets Wednesday evenings)
  • Sunday School Classes for all ages
  • Sunday Worship Services
  • Monthly Kidz Night (with Homer the Puppet and Miss Valorie)

We enjoy fellowship activities as well:

  • Monthly Sunday Fellowship (sharing a meal together)
  • Monthly youth activity
  • Thursday evening volleyball (summer)
  • Men’s Breakfast Fellowship
  • Happy Scrappers (scrapbooking meeting)
  • Women of Worth (women’s gathering)
